Church isn’t just about Sunday. As a family, we spend time together in other contexts. There’s always a lot going on; we have small groups, prayer meetings, socials and other events that you can get involved in.

Small Groups

Besides Sunday mornings we meet together in a smaller context in houses. It is important to build each other up by caring, challenging and equipping people. We do this in a house context so that close relationships can be formed whilst we support others.

Discipleship – 1-2-1

1-2-1 is our discipleship scheme, based on Biblical principles in order to build each other up in a one on one context.

Jesus said:

“Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey all the commands I have given you”

We need living example in our lives that go before us and encourage us to pursue God’s ways. We also need an intimate context in which to share our lives within the fellowship. It has always been God’s plan for disciples to make disciples, reproducing Christ in others. The 1-2-1 discipleship scheme is looking to facilitate an ethos of discipleship that means that everyone can be discipled and every can disciple.

Men@TCC

Men@TCC provides excellent opportunities for men to get together and develop real friendships and fellowship. Together we discuss relevant topics, pray, and problem solve the latest DIY conundrum.

At 8pm on the first Monday of each month we meet at The Otter Inn, Weston to chat, laugh, and sample the delights of an Otter Ale or a J2O.

The third Saturday of the month is when we try to meet up at the King’s Centre to pray together and test the culinary skills of one of our members. Be there at 8am for breakfast and 8.45am if you’re slimming! Which ever you choose, we aim to give you a warm welcome and hope to encourage you in your Christian faith.

We welcome any men who are out of school to join us and encourage people who are not involved with the church to come along and enjoy relaxing together.
